Isla Contoy

Contoy Island, a small Mexican island, is the perfect definition for what we could call “island paradise”. It is about 30 km north of Isla Mujeres and will dazzle you with its beauty and wild side.
This almost deserted island has remained virgin to protect all species of birds coming to nest there.
Also, since 1961 the island has been protected by the Mexican government and declared a national park in 1998.
In the south of the island, you can also enjoy its extraordinary beaches made of white sand and the Ixlaché reef which is part of the second largest barrier reef in the world.

Isla Mujeres

Mujeres Island is an island located just in front of Cancun, bordering the Caribbean Sea. It is known for its clear turquoise waters and white sand beaches, which makes it very popular among tourists.
It is 7 km long and only 650 meters wide.
It is an island entirely dedicated to tourism with many sites for scuba diving, very well-known for their corals.
It was named “Isla Mujeres”, which means “the island of women” in English, by the spanish conquistadors because of the images of goddesses that were found everywhere on the island.
